Why I became a steward
I became a union steward because I watched good people get pushed around — not out of malice, but because no one was there to say 'that's not how this works.' I decided to be that person.
I'm here because my coworkers deserve someone in their corner, and because a workplace that follows its own rules is better for everyone — including management.
